Ordinary unit conversions and text transformations run in your browser. Our analytics integration does not send calculator input values or pasted text as events. The site does not include advertising scripts or user accounts.

Optional Google Analytics

If you select Accept analytics, ToConvert loads Google Analytics 4 to help us understand page visits and site usage. Google receives information such as visited pages, referral sources, browser and device details, and connection information. Analytics uses cookies, including _ga and _ga_KZWQ3Q72G0, to distinguish browsers and sessions. We configure these cookies to expire after 180 days without extending their lifetime on each page load.

The Google tag is blocked until you accept. Rejecting analytics leaves every converter available. Advertising storage, advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled in our integration. Page and referrer URLs supplied by our code exclude query strings and fragments, which can contain shared conversion values.

Your choice is stored in this browser for 180 days. Use Privacy settings in the footer to change it. Withdrawing consent stops further collection, clears accessible Analytics cookies for this site and reloads the page. It does not delete data already received by Google. If browser storage is unavailable, your choice applies only to the current page.

Local preferences

Appearance preferences, saved conversions and reference-rate caches use your browser’s local storage. Saved conversions can include the value and selected units. Use Remove in the Saved dialog to delete them, or clear this site’s browser data.

Shared links

A copied conversion link includes the value and unit selections in its URL. Anyone receiving that link can read those values. Avoid sharing links containing information you consider private.

Exchange rates and hosting

The currency converter requests rates from ExchangeRate-API and Coinbase. These services receive ordinary connection information, such as your IP address, but the calculator does not include the amount you entered in its rate requests. The hosting provider may process connection logs and, for a private preview, sign-in information under its own policies.
